Custom Vented J Channel which is how we make out Ridge Vent.

Phone 540-222-1642 we are Alpha Rain The Metal Roofing Company.  Today it is raining so we are making our Vented J Channel that we use for our custom vented ridge cap for our metal roofing.  We are making this on site here in our shop.  The Machine we are using has been custom made for us to cut and perforate our metal to the specs we need for our under roof ventilation system.  This process is very important in that most metal roofing ridge cape do not have the vented J channel which means the ridge will not vent.

We have just completed a Standing Seam Metal Roof in Falls Church that has our custom ridge vent that actually vents the air from the attic.  In the video you will see us making the metal with little vents in it, we then use are break to bend the metal into what looks like a J, and this is called J channel.  For the Falls Church job we used the vented J Channel from this run that we made in this video.
