We recently installed an attic and under roof ventilation system on an unvented asphalt shingle roof. This roof had neither soffitt vents or a vented ridge vent and when it was 96 degrees outside it was 150 degrees in the attic. The challenge was how to vent the roof and attic without the cost of adding soffitt vents. We added our ventilation system over the existing roof, saving our landfills from more asphalt shingles, and saving dollars for our customer. In our next post we will share the incredible results from this amazing automatic natural ventilation system.
